Overview

TWIN'S DADDY AYCE KOREAN CHARCOAL BBQ in Richmond offers an authentic Korean barbecue experience centered around quality charcoal-grilled meats. Located conveniently on Victoria Street, this intimate venue captures the essence of traditional Korean dining with a local Melbourne touch. The restaurant's modest, cozy space encourages shared moments among friends and family, bringing a sense of warmth and togetherness enhanced by the swirling aroma of smoky charcoal.

The restaurant’s all-you-can-eat format features a range of well-prepared Korean staples. The charcoal grilling imparts a rich, smoky depth to their meats, which, while not extravagant, remain satisfying and tender. The Korean fried chicken stands out for its crispiness and flavorful sauces, serving as an excellent complement to the barbecue. Meanwhile, bibimbap and a selection of classic Korean pancakes round out the menu with fresh, vibrant flavors that balance the richer grilled items.

Service at TWIN'S DADDY is intimate and attentive, often managed single-handedly by the owner, Michael, who brings a personal touch to the dining experience. Though the restaurant is small and can get smoky indoors, it offers plenty of space per table, making the atmosphere comfortable and inviting rather than cramped.

This spot is ideal for casual gatherings—especially groups seeking a lively and unpretentious setting to enjoy Korean barbecue without the overwhelming scale or glitz of larger chains. With unlimited food and drinks options available, it caters well to those looking for value without compromising authenticity. The only minor shortcoming is a limited variety of desserts, which could be a consideration for families with children.

Overall, TWIN'S DADDY AYCE Korean Charcoal BBQ stands as a solid choice for locals craving genuine charcoal-grilled Korean flavors paired with a laid-back, friendly vibe in Richmond.

We went for the $62 per person deal that night and it was a blast! Smoke and laughter everywhere, great spot to catch up with the boys. Meat quality wasnt too bad. Fry chicken was amazing and sauces were pretty good. $62 gets you unlimited drinks and food. if you don't drink too much then just go for the $30 or $40 deal. The gentlemen that helped us was cool as. Knew what we needed. They were super busy and still tried their best to help

This is probably the best-value Korean charcoal BBQ buffet I’ve tried in Melbourne. While the variety of dishes isn’t huge, the quality of each one is excellent. There’s essentially just one staff member, the owner Michael, but he manages everything impressively well. The restaurant itself is small, yet surprisingly comfortable with plenty of space per table. It may not have the flashiness or extensive menu of the big Korean BBQ chains, but it delivers something even better, an authentic Korean dining experience that feels genuinely local. The only thing we found lacking is ice cream/dessert for the kids. Can highly recommended this place to anyone seeking for authentic taste of Korean food.

We did the $58 unlimited for 1.5hrs. It included beer, wine, Soju, rice wine and soda. You don’t get to pick your meat here, instead you are given a basket full of pre chosen and portioned meat. The menu says it’s a $10 fee if you don’t finish your meat- but they didn’t charge us. It wasn’t anythjnf amazing , but the price makes it worth it.

Came in with a bunch of friends and enjoyed the food, limited variety though it was, but plentiful. I mean, a girl can only eat so much … but the guys … they kept going Food was good, just regular KBbq stuff. Limited variety but sufficient for filling up hungry tummies while enjoying banter with friends. Friendly staff /manager/owner - gave us a bit of instructive speech at the beginning. Then the plate was brought in and the grilling began. Quite an interesting concept for decor - the whole place had this incomplete, unpainted rough walls look. But we liked it. Unusual yet acceptable. Noise levels were ok. We could hear one another without having to shout across the table. Newish place to try

Of all Melbourne AYCE KBBQ, this by far is the best in terms of budget, family friendly and taste. . There were heaps of meat choices, seafoods, side dishes such as Korean Fried Chicken, Tempuras and soup choices such as Miso and Kim Chi (though the Miso one was not outstanding in taste ). . The place is quite big, suitable for family or friends dinner on the weekend.
